Hello people, I have been challenged to find a venue for a Euro birthday weekender.
Easy - That's Amsterdam (My choice). He was thinking Prague.

Ok I looked at Prague and read the fine road trip write-up's from you guys, problem is Prague seems to be fully booked in June (Bit of scouting around and found that Prague seems to hosts alot of conferences etc and of course answer is the lack of decent accomodation). - Prague gone then.

Thought about Latvia (Riga), but after reading a fair amount don't want to be worried about rip-off's and generally looking over my shoulder (Am I wrong?).

So there was Estonia (Tallinn) again from what I read this is pretty much like Riga, and to be honest not supprised the locals have issues with outsiders since Riga & Talinn are stag party venues so very often now.

Read the Blog on the Top RL districts and was supprised by the comment that Frankfurt RL is larger than
Amsterdam. I read further articles (And saw some pictures) on the Amsterdam window / alleyways being closed down (Such a shame).

So here we go with some questions, for a fly in stop over Friday - Monday from London. Where do you guys consider would be the best country / city to land. Late 30's both hetro & not on a budget (as such). Just looking for entertainment and a good laugh - flying back on the Monday Worn out with big smiles?

TIA, SME.

Hey SME - for me personally, there is no contest - Frankfurt!

You have Beer, Women, Food, or change the order around ......

I took a friend there for his 40th - flew in on Friday after work - Friday night consisted of Beer, more beer, we might have had some food but I don't think so, then we went onto a brilliant nightclub which we left when the lights came on at 5am. We tried to pull 2 birds back to the hotel but were all so drunk it would have been boring :-)

Then Saturday, after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel at about 10:00am we went out to FKK Oase - it was his first time at an FKK and it blew his mind!! We left at 4am on Sunday morning.

Sunday up at 10:00am again to fly out at 1pm - if we had an extra day we might have visited the RLD but to be honest the FKK experience of either Oase or Palace is so quality that for a special occasion it would be rude not to do it ;-)

That's my suggestion - looking forward to see what others think.

Cheers

Trav

I'm 100% with Trav69 on this one, Frankfurt and the FKKs.

Plus hotels aren't too pricey at weekends when all the suits have gone home.

To spend a summer's day by the pool at FKK Oase with all those naked girls around is pretty much unbeatable in my opinion.

Oh and BTW worn out with a big smile is how I end every weekend I go to Frankfurt.

It has to be Frankfurt for me too. Not into fkks, I go for the beer, food, rld and a bit of travelling around. And of course all the beautiful women. The rld has women from all over the world, all sizes and ages. Amsterdam is excellent for a lads weekend too of course.

Frankfurt and the local FKKs - great deal as pointed out you will not be disappointed.

On the other hand you will be disappointed by the Frankfurt RLD(s), in total there may be theoretically more rooms than in Amsterdam but most are not occupied, those that are host lots of MILFs, mostly older that you are. The area is distinctly shady also.

True, the area is very shady. Lots of police around but I can't understand why the area is allowed to look so shady with so many dodgy people hanging around. Amsterdam has a fair few shady characters hanging around as well but feels very safe. I don't feel threatened in Frankfurt's rld but have been approached twice by dodgy men. Offering something in German. I just ignore them and they pass on by thankfully.
Don't forget , it has two rlds too. Also, there are plenty of milfs about but that suits me just fine. However, I also think there are loads and loads of young ees too. I suspect it may change at certain time's of year as when I went in may 11 it was packed. However when I went in march 12 there were more closed doors. Whether they were busy, or unoccupied, I do not know. I found on both occassions that some buildings are completely full, whereas some others are barren , or barely staffed. In contrast, I have found Amsterdam's rld to be shrinking in size, numbers and windows!!!! Even the coffee shops are banning tourists in the new year!!!!!
I'm off to Frankfurt in a couple of weeks and I plan to check it out thoroughly. I shall do my best to give an honest assessment. If It's bad, I'll be totally honest. In March, the bottom floor in ElbeStraße 45 had perspex sheets around the door like they were closed for business. Plenty of milfs still about but not like my previous visit.
