Hi
I will be on my very first visit to Amsterdam and have searched the internet for information and found two RLDs. One is of course the main one and the other is behind my hotel which is called the Hotel Citadel. Can anyone tell me the difference between them as i only have a one night stop over and would like to fit as much in as possible

Is there a good selection in the small RLD next to the Citadel?

Not an area i frequent that often, sorry, but sure you will get replies from guys who frequent that area and know more about it than i do.
The consensus i find, is that the singel area has quite a lot of milfs, and quite a few good younger girls

More older women 29-50 but are young girls on the spuistraat windows. the area is smaller but both RLD 10-15 mins walk away from each other so not really far.

I prefer the Singel area myself, not for the women but because it's a lot less people and no tourists at all in it. Plus it's cheaper too and a lot more relaxed

I also prefer the singel...to many people on de wallen, there are lots of milfs on singel but thats what I like and some will take 30 euros altho most will take 40

The Singel RLD is less touristy and more locals.

I always found it an adventure as your walking and see red lights up ahead, the anticipation builds, heart pumping, you bend down and look in the window, and a 60 year old grandmother smiles as she is putting on her lipstick and making come here eyes at you!

There used to be some real gems hidden in this RLD. They mainly worked on Spuistraat and you had to also check the upstairs windows which meant keeping your head on a swivel. The area does seem more relaxed and with less punters in the area, the clock watching doesn't seem to be as prevalent.

I would say in order to stay in recommandations made by greenhoff and other micers, that you can do both Singel and De Wallen rlds are they are really close.
De Wallen mongering scene is quite intense these days, particularly during dayshift : in Stoofsteeg, you can spot German Kim, Veronika, and a few other hot girls/ During nightshift, you can spot Miau, Elodie, etc.

There's a third RLD in the south of the city : it's called De Pijp, near to the Albert Cuyp Market, in Ferdinand Bolstraat.

The window girls in De Pijp can be spotted in the street called Ruysdaelkade. I add this precision, because the link I posted above was not really clear about where exactly they are, just mentioning Ferdinand Bolstraat.

If you're into MILFs, heaven is the Singel RLD on a Sunday morning.

De Wallen is more suited to the current ideals of 'good looking'.

The Singel area is more for mature women and people's perception of slightly less good looking women.

I always prefer the de Wallen area.

However, the choice is yours.

Wish I visited the Singel area when I went (was right round the corner from it at one point but didn't realise it was there).

De Wallen is massive tho and so much choice. I think you get a mix as well in my opinion but it is quite fullbof tourist types that could be a bit off putting at times.
