truly stunning photos...magnificent.

one does look at it, and think..when i was 17..the first time i went in...2003.....the windows, were nearly all red...now post recession, goverment...its cut down so much.

perhaps we were all lucky enough to witness that scene in its peak

There's indeed something so special about those lights in the night.
During day there is another atmosphere but nights are definitely different. It's also very beautiful when it's snowing...and by dark at 2.00 am, wow !

cant stop looking at those photos..stunning....

makes me want to move to amsterdam and live my life there in that culture...being used to riding a bike.......a city full of character and appreciation of its tradition

Absolutely Beautiful!! Hubby and I are flyin out there in less than 2wks..these jus make you wana be there sooner..gives you the warm mesmeric glow you feel when out there..at night..all the lights.. wanderin the streets of the dam..Amazing!! Xx

i agree wholly with the above comments, excellent photos. my favourite is the one taken from the second bridge looking back up with moulin rouge on the right. i like to think i am done with amsterdam but pictures like this make me feel like i wanna go back tomorrow!

Thanks for the great responses.. The RLD has a special glow that is hard to capture without a tripod. Only my son would be able to get away with that.
