Reccomended or not so?

If so, to keep costs down, what is the best deal on single rooms you have found?

I've done a few 1 nighters, usually get an early flight in and a late flight out, so its nearly 36 hours in the dam as for hotels I tend to have look at whatever is cheapest on trivago, or check the torrenzicht or greenhouse effect website. just make sure you use the map function on trivago as you can end up out in the sticks!

I'm used to staying in the same place. However, I've recently become convinced I could get a cheap single room somewhere in the same area ( very central ).

Obviously, I don't want a hell hole, but I'm not too fussed apart from own bathroom and proper 24 hour reception in a safe area.

i do 1 nighters all the time now.

early flight from LHR, stay at the Golden Tulip, and fly back nxt day at midday.

but, i MUST do a 2 nighter this year,

How much do you spend all in?

Depends on what time of the year you go re GT
Jan-Mar you can get a single or dbl for around e75

I get quite a good discount, but even without, still good value imho

Apr-sept prob around e110, then drops off again
