Hi

I'm planning to pop over this weekend coming and am probably driving with a pal.

Last time I flew and stayed right in the centre. The time before that was a part of a business trip and I stayed at a hotel near Schipol as there were vehicles. (so got cabs to the RLD which is expensive and a pain)

Can anyone recommend a hotel in, or on the outskirts of the RLD which has parking facilities for a car?

The krasnapolsky has a multi storey carpark to the rear with a direct access into the rear of the hotel.

The Rho Hotel, 50 mtrs from Kraz has parking.

The Barbizon also has parking.

There is underground public parking across the canal from central station, on prins hendrickade.
It is expensive, about 50 euro a day.
There is a cheaper public parking structure on Marnixstraat on the southwest corner of the grachtengordel,
but it is a long walk back downtown.

Try Koopermoolen Hotel.

Its basically a small cosy hotel INSIDE the RLD.

Nowhere close to Krasnopolsky when it comes to "quality" and **** rating, but its quite very neat, comfortable and friendly location.

The car park is available if you call them and reserve.

Use on of the P+R zones near the soccer stadium Amsterdam ArenA and take the subway to the center (get out at Nieuwmarkt) You don't want to get stuck in the center of Amsterdam with a car:P
