steak.

There is a fairly new steakhouse on Oudezijds Voorburgwal 163, just off Damstraat end.
I 'found it' last week, never noticed it before hence I think its new.
Anyway.
I know everyone's taste is different, but I cannot recommend this place enough.
Best steak I've had, ever! not just in Amsterdam.

Ate here in December, nice meal in fairly cosy surroundings! It's not as if amsterdam is short of steakhouses there seems to be more open every time I go!

The menus are on the website, I think I paid about E35 for starter main and a few beers

The best steak place I've been to in Amsterdam is Castell's Bar Be Cue on Lijnbaansgracht, just off Leidseplein. Head and shoulders above the Argentine steak places that dot the city.

I second the Castell's recommendation. The best ribs, fillet mignon & sirloin in Amsterdam.
