Well, it holds a different significance for me I guess. 4/20 in 2008 was the first day I ever visited Amsterdam. Really regret not discovering it (and this site) earlier, but I'm here now...

Funny, my first visit was also in 2008, but not in April, it was in September. When I think that at that time, ABJ was working in Oudekennissteeg and that I never had the chance to see her.

was over for this 4/20, nobody seemed to make a fuss over it at all, other than some organised coffeeshops crawls by the folks on ACD. if anything it was the easter weekend that had the streets packed. de wallen and saturday and sunday evening/night was an absolute nightmare.

no RLD-action for me (other than a thai massage) but managed to put some names to faces and for the first time i saw the legendary max and agneiska (i've probably spelt that wrong). i even saw my 1st punt from 2012 (tanya on oudekennisteeg) still working, which was nice in a weird kind of way.

but yeah, 4/20 was pointless. better off going at a quieter time, although i probably don't need to tell you that.

It's 20/4 in UK, not sure about rest of Europe, so perhaps may be why low key.
