Hi there everyone. Well at long last I will be back in the Dam in September and can hardly wait.
I have a very good dutch mate who gives me his couch whenever I want it in Haarlem and am so ready to see my favourite place again. I don't know how the rest of you feel but there are certain noises that you hear when you get to Amsterdam that send a tingle down my spine! Purely because you know that you are "there" for me its the bells from the towers, the many different tram noises, or maybe the bicycle bells ringing and telling you to please move if you want to remain in one piece.
I have been and worked in the Netherlands so many times I have lost count but the place has so far never lost its magic.
I have my usual things that I do which mostly involves bars and beer. I intend to see some favourite old haunts like molly malones, café remember, old sailor, Excalibur and de stoof maybe.
When it comes to girls I have in the past made lists and notes but never followed them. I always end up just trying whatever catches my eye. Maybe more exciting when its not so pre-planned. Usually go for super model looks and if they give me a wink I am usually enticed without a fight.
Daytime I enjoy coffee and an English breakfast at a non fancy eaterie on raadhuistraat and will no doubt be there a couple more times while I read the paper and check the horse racing!
I may not be the typical tourist or micer but thought I would share what I get up to! I also usually have a day in den haag and visit both scenes there. I think it is great and underated.
Anyway. If you have any reccomendations for me I would very much appreciate it.
Have fun, and take care!4

Welcome back :)

You have sussed a bit of the Amsterdam feeling for me, this is why I prefer to travel to AMS instead of seeing a UK escort.

The bells, the cyclists, the brown cafes, FEBO, the cobbles and the gorgeous canals do it for me!

Hope you have a great time in September - I was out there in September last year, it's a little bit too busy for me during this time but all the best :)

Thankyou mate. Yes I am so pleased someone gets what I meant about the noises. in my city we have trams and bells but the sound is unique. And I cant believe I forgot to mention febo!!!! I always pop in between bars and use the same old shit joke every time I put my money in the slot.... " I won" (I am so sad)I worked in rembranddt square for a few months about 4 or 5 years ago and febo was my place of sanctuary away from the phones. I would eat my croquet amongst normal folk and for 30 minutes on my dinner break I felt good!!
What are your usual habits in the Netherlands??
Best wishes, Redstar

I tend to head out around 4-5 times a year. My next trip is in November so I'm very much looking forward to it.
I prefer to visit the city in the Winter months, I prefer less crowds and colder temperatures I guess!

Like drinking in Old Sailor/Susies Saloon/Wildeman etc etc :)

I am guessing you are not far away then? Are you a brit?
I most likely have been to susies and wildeman but will check it out for sure.
Out of interest do you recommend any girls or prives/clubs etc? I once took centre stage in a Thursday night gangbang at paradise which was cool. been out drinking all day which worked in my favour. Still stood to attention and no nerves!! LOL Always wanted to try showboat but worried about getting back late at night without blowing my budget. Been to sameplace too but I guess I chose a bad day as it was dead and not that friendly. might give it another chance though.
regards

"I won" haha. Its been 2 years for me and i can't wait to step off the train and hear those sounds. I regularly travel outside the states, but theres something about the Dam that always draws me back. Its not just the pretty girls and the soft red lights either. its the atmosphere and the people too. I made a lot of good memories with friends out there. Glad ill be heading back in a month. :)

Hey there. I am really pleased for you mate. I cant wait either. Will be sometime in September I go. I keep going over it in my head as to whether I should make plans, ie - a girls list, bar list etc but I know I just wont stick to it. You start to walk around and then say to yourself "that looks a cool bar. I think I will have a couple of beers now" Or "she looks so cute and hot. I think I will treat myself" LOL
Whatever happens I know I will have a great few days as Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands never lets me down!
Enjoy your trip.
Regards

I can't wait to go this September as well, I went last September and had a great time. Played drinking games with hostel mates, played pool upstairs in Excalibur while drinking and smoking, smoking at baba coffeeshop, eating truffles in the vondelpark. I go back this September as well the 23rd-26th..

I've been having a craving for a Heineken and a raw herring sandwich. Two things I'm looking forward to again while I'm stoned is to see the Crazy guy with the plant on his head singing "I shot the Sheriff"... And the crazy old Dutch boat guy who plays his trumpet in the canals to the church bells near Anne Frank Museum..that's the true Amsterdam experience right there!!

Sorry Redstar - only just spotted your last post.

Yeah, you guessed it - I am a Brit (Edinburgh) so the flight is only a short hop across the water!

I have never been to a prive/club so cannot help you there I'm afraid. If we are talking RLD girls then I can recommend Simona who can be found in the girls section :)

Be sure to let us know how your trip goes!

I have a photo from a few years ago of me and the plant pot man outside the old sailor.
Simona sounds fantastic and I will definitely keep an eye out for her. Sounds like my type for sure.
Any other suggestions would be very welcome.

I know this question may be way out of date but I remember a while back that a girl called Nina (worked on tromp I think ) was pretty much rated the number 1 girl! Whatever happened to her? I looked for her a few times way back and who knows how many times my beer soaked judgement let me walk past her without twigging it was her??
I also had good service from a more mature lady. possibly Italian and worked the last window of goldbergersteeg. She once let me have surprising extras without me even asking or paying more!
Jeez, I just cant wait. Better start saving up as this could be "the trip to beat all previous trips"
Regards

Nina retired summer 2012.

The mature lady on Goldbersteeg sounds like Emma. Still about and someone i would highly recommend.

Really!!! 2012. It goes to show I have neglected my yearnings for the great city. Although I will blame the recession! lol
Emma does not ring a bell and if someone were to mention her name I would know straight away it was her!
I am not doubting your greater knowledge but I knew her with a different name to emma!
Just trying to book my travel now and really wanted to go by ferry and enjoy the crossing. a few beers, food etc but flights have turned out to be only a third of the cost! (u.k guy)
regards

Hi,

The Italian/Swiss is Carla for sure, who used to work in Goldbergersteeg 8, very last room, as Emma is working in Goldbergersteeg 7 and not 8. Carla also used to work in Sint Annenstraat 118 (dayshift)

Recommendations ?

Max
German Kim

Both excellent/friendly/experienced providers. The best is to extend sessions, and it should be great.
Trust me.

Anna, Sint Annendwarstraat 26-1, one of those girls I've only had good echoes about recently.
Mila if your liking is tall slim woman who provides DFK, BBHJ, lots of extras.
If you like blonde energetic/sarcastic/teasing girls, Elodie (but be warned she practices upsell, and she can be very pushy/rushed during basic sessions at 50 €, so better bet on 100 € mini)

Well I said I wouldn't but I now have a shortlist of Simona, Mila and one out of Max or German Kim.
Plus maybe a surprise one too that just catches my eye.
Many thanks for your help guys and let me know any other reccomendations.
Also would like to find a good night bar where girls hang out. I am staying in Haarlem so there might be a good place to start looking for nice local dutch women.
Regards

Backtracking slightly here but it was definitely Carla!!!! I remember the name now. Friendly, nice woman and good provider. Always wore glasses I think.
I shall now do some research on this Anna that a couple of you have spoken about and probably either revise or extend my plans!! lol
Cheers
