Anyone used these for a trip?

It says it doesn't include 5% city tax so how is that paid ?

It makes my trip to the Amrath in March a lot cheaper and I just wonder is it too good to be true when booking direct with the hotel costs more ?

I don't see why Theres a difference what's the catch?

It's a good site. You'll pay the tax at checkout along with other incidental expenses you might incur during your stay. They will ask for a credit card at check in to cover it.

Always used booking.com never had a problem. Also a tip is to book a room with free cancellations 48 hours before u go then check back each week for any better deals then just cancel your first book for free.

I like the fact that I do not have to pay upfront. Definitely appealing. Only had an issue once, but that was due to my bank freezing my credit card as soon as I told them I was traveling...boneheaded for sure however, my hotel I was booked at was less than understanding and fucked me over and cancelled my booking. Needless to say, I curse that hotel every time I walk by it....sadly in Amsterdam.

Also always book the hotel in there currency then you wont lose out on a poor exchange rate they offer.

Seem fine BUT BE AWARE OR CAREFUL that there is a Cancel Option as I got caught on a 2night booking which
I had to pay in full even though I rang up 3months in advance!
make sure you cancel up to 24hrs!

I think the tax is new. I didn't have to pay a tax like that on my last visit in September.
