whor-ti-cul-ture
Function: noun
Definition: 1. The exploration, study, discovery and enjoyment of foreign cultures and peoples
and particularly the cultivation of intimate social/sexual/commercial ties with
its women.

2. The "plowing" of fertile fields" of womenhood.

Etymology: A homonym or "play on words" of the term horticulture. A combination fo the words
"whor" + "culture" The word "Whor" itself has some offensive contemporary
connotations but it derives from the Old English "hore" and ultimately from an
Indo-European base meaning "to desire" that is also the ancestor of the English
words cherish & caress, which is not so bad if you think about it.
The word "Culture" derives from the Latin "cultura" meaning "tillage" and later from
p.p. stem of the Middle French "colere" meaning "to till, tend, guard, cultivate or
worship." Those original roots makd the term seem more relevant to horticulture
than we currently think of as culture. The meanings "the intellectual side of
civilization" or "collective customs and achievements of a people" didn't come
about until the 1800's. And the current usage of "whorticulture" is now only
becoming more widely known and used

Related 1) WHOR-TI-CULTUR-AL -adjective Of or pertaining to Whorticulture
Words:
2) WHOR-TI-CUL-TUR-AL-LY adverb By means of Whorticulture.

3) WHOR-TI-CUL-TUR-IST noun A member of the brotherhood of gentlemen
who engage in whorticulture.
