I'm planning on spending between 3-7 days in A'dam and I'm wondering how much cash I should plan on parting with during my stay...

a quick description of everything I want to do:
Visit a club/prives at least once a day (possibly twice depending)
smoke copious amounts of ganja
drink a decent amount each night
possibly visit some regular disco type clubs W/drinking
eat out 3+ times a day at decent restaurants
visit at least 1 sex show type bar
visit museums (I understand there's a card I can buy for 25euro or so for all the museums.)

I'm thinking something like 675+ per day... how reasonable is this? I don't really want to skip out on anything.
My estimate is contingent on a couple of assumptions which I'm not quite sure about...

for the clubs/prives I pay 75+ euro for entry and 150-250euro for a girl?

My logic is about 150+ per night for a room
300+ per day for club/prive (per visit)
20+smoke per day
40+drink per day
90+food per day
25 museum pass
?? sex show
25+ misc.
60+ regular disco+drinking

Am I way off or pretty accurate??

On a different note does anyone know of a hotel near all the action that has a Gym?

your estimates are good but what is in question is your stamina. to assume that you will be able to go full speed ahead for 6 days is a lot of partying. Chances are you will slow downa little and not need quite that much cash Have fun Ed

I'm not too worried about the stamina. I need to fit in a year of good times into about a week so I will be partying until I drop (literally).

Has anyone ever stayed in or hear about the: VICTORIA Hotel Amsterdam, it seems to have everything I need...

You should get laid first thing out of bed in the mornings. IF you plan on going to club elegance etc. , do not go for the sex, go to get roaring ass drunk. After I choose a girl I will buy a bottle of champagne and chug the whole thing before she can barely get glass a down. At 200+ euros a bottle I know I should savor it, but she might want a second glass. Fuck that.

You are slightly off.

The prives are E75 and that's it for an hour (plus tip) unless you want the jacuzzi room, which can go to like 110 an hour or something. This will save you bank.

The Victoria is a good hotel, except that they like to wake you up. This is a very bad place to stay for that reason if you are coming in from a LONG flight. The location is PRIME and the rooms are nice.

we have stayed at a place called the "city hotel" in rembrandtplein right next to a casino. it is a great hotel. about a 5-10 walk at most to the "district". To answer your ?? about a gym near by.........................i know that there is a gym close to the hotel. one year we went and one of our buddies wanted to work out, and found a gym near by.
i think your going to be ok with the numbers you worked out. i would actually guess you to spend less than that per day. if you haven't been there before, you'll see. all of these "activities" take a toll on the ole' body. the first day you may spend that much, cuz your "fresh out of the gate". after that, you'd be surprised how you can just hang,smoke, and jump in for a few 20 min "quickie" when needed. have fun.........and hope the info helps!
