Are poppers still sold in the sex shops in Amsterdam? Last time I was there, didn't seem to recall them out in the open. Are they banned now, due to the conflict with Viagra? Also, anyone have an update on TS Dominique? Is she still working? And lastly, what's the nightly rate for a single for a RLD hotel (budget) these days?

In 2004 poppers at some RLD sex shops were for sale but not on display (ask for them) and they were getting elevated prices(EUR 20). Drakes on Damrak had them on display and at EUR 10.

I don't think there's a health hazard with today's poppers as they are nitrite based not the old style nitrate based that is a health hazard when combined with tadalafil type drugs.

I think Old Center single rooms off season are in the 30 to 50 Euro range although some places have weekend higher prices.

My fave The Kap a non old center hotel with a killer breakfast buffet has an off season price of EUR 42 with no added weekend hikes. High season (April-October) is EUR 57.
