Well me and a friend leave friday to Dam =)for 7 days. Anyone have any last min tips? I used the device and have got a good idea of whats up but your tips on the best ladies would be great. I am staying at NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. Also anything I need to know about scams and crimes that are pulled on tourists? Do you have to ask the ladies about everything? touching, full nude multi-positions. Or is there a better way to phrase the questions. Well thanks for any help,I cant wait to get there.

Your staying at a good hotel to start with. As for tourist scams, all I can say is use your best judgement and you'll have no problem. Don't buy drugs on the street. When approached, and you will be approached numerous times to purchace drugs on the streets, be firm and just say NO. You most likely will encounter people begging for Euro's as in any city. As for the girls. I usually start with somthing like this: #1 Always be pleasant, F u k and S ck, how much? For how long? Totally nude? 2/3 positions? then you can get into other area's like touching, kissing, daty, ect... Don't be shy tell her what you want. Always cut the basic structure of the deal at her door. You'll be ok. Oh ya one other item of caution. Be careful of the steep stairs you may encounter. Hope this helped.

I have been in A'dam a bunch of times alone. You'll be just fine wondering around on your own, day or night. Take only enough money that you need for the excursion and be smart about the way you walk. Do not let yourself get surrounded by the pushers on the corners of the rld as they will try to get your attention and maybe reach in your pockets. Keep your money and valuables in your front pocket or better yet inside pocket of your coat. Even the alleys are ok to walk thru late at night as there are always people around. There are always police around and none of the pushers want any trouble. If you should run into a problem, just scream police, watch how fast they run away. If you do some homework on the device, you can plan for some really great action. The rld by the old church is where I've had the most fun, although it is a blast to wonder through the main strip as well. Remember, keep your eyes open, pockets closed and if anyone starts to bother you or sell you something, just ignore them and if they persist, say no. One last thing, if you smoke cigs, don't give them out to anyone as I've seen where people will pull them out to give away one and their pack gets snatched. I've traveled to many places and always feel very safe in A'dam. Hope this helps!!!!!

Steep steps: Just what it says. Some of the Kamers have very steep steps up to them, and others have steep steps down. These can cause severe injury if you fall down/up them. Keep your eyes open, as these aren't nicely fenced off with warning signs...
Itf you see a fit bird upstairs, look down first to make sure there are no 'traps' in front of you.
ESPECIALLY if you're as faced as I intend to be...

Enjoy...

Don't pay extra to get her top off, no matter how cute she is. €50 for a quickie, €100 for a longer session but it's still only one pop.

If you're staying at The Kras, do yourself a favour and get an escort in at least once. Clubfuck will get you an hour for €120 which would set you back €200 in the RLD. I even had a couple at 2am, but you'll need to book first.

Take a mobile - don't know how I managed without one on my first few trips - but don't flash it around in the RLD.

If you're not a big smoker, start on milder strains - especially if you want to get a bit done in the day - as the gear is likely to be a notch or three stronger that what you smoke at home.

Read my recent three trip reports if you want to know what to expect regarding your most excellent choice of hotel and please write up a trip report when you get back.

Wear tight pants and don't keep anything of value in your rear pockets, keep your wallet in a front pocket with money and credit cards, keep your spending cash for the day in the other pocket. Pickpockets are the most likely crime.

Watch out for dog shit. Watch where you walk.

Ignore the people in the rld trying to sell you drugs.

Other than that you should be alright.

In addition to steep stairs , they also are uneven. Due to the fact people have been walking on these things for centuries? Be sure to check the dates on the front of the bldgs. All I can say is wow.. Watch out for the Trams!! Buses!! Bikes!! Stay Out of the Bike Lane. You'll get clocked. As far as the trams go. At last years Cup, I was traveling to the Leidseplein with this group from NYC. The one dude asked the toll collector if someone walked out in front of a tram, could the driver hit the brake & stop just like that. She replied that a few wks earlier 2 tourist got hit & "Their legs were hurt." I've got the entire thing on video. Priceless!!
Have a f-ing blast. Smoke some Stella Blue for me from The Anyday. Tell them the guy that went to GrasPop in June is coming back for the Cup.

Looking out for cat and dog shit is a must. Bring a couple pair of shoes. Nothing ruins a evening like stepping in a pile of shit. It's not like being at home. You really dont have a good way to clean your shoes. You will end up with your whole hotel room smelling like shit if try to clean them in your sink or something.
