I know that some members own several bars in the RLD, specifically my favorite Rick's Cafe. I was wondering if the owners were among those arrested or were the arrests mostly in other cities in the Netherlands.

All over the area. About 25% of the membership was picked up in the biggest crackdown on the group ever by the Dutch authorities.

WOW! That's kind of F-ed up, isn't it? Of course I'm sure they had good reasons. I just had to deal with a race riot in Toledo this past weekend. I wasn't in it, but when I mention where I'm from, people'll say..."Isn't that where..."

This is from a news article ...

>>>
'Big Willem' van Boxtel, the former president of the Amsterdam chapter of the Hells Angels motorbike club, is suspected of involvement in murder and several other criminal offences, his lawyer has revealed.

Van Boxtel was among 45 people arrested during raids by 1,000 police officers on the Hells Angels in several Dutch cities on Monday morning.

The authorities said a grenade launcher, a flame-thrower and other weapons were seized but it was not revealed where these items were found.

Is this a recent arrest for Big Will? I thought he was kicked out of the Hell's Angels a couple years back. As I understand it he was involved in a murder for hire plot on one of the Heineken kidnappers. His plan was to blow up the Hell's Angels' clubhouse with his target and members of the club inside. It was found out and he was kicked out of the club and forced to leave town. Also as I understand it, The Excalibur was turned over to the new Hell's Angels president while The Otherplace is now managed by Big Wills son.

Peace,

Mojo
