Planning a trip to Amsterdam

Hello--I plan on going to Amsterdam at the end of this year. I honestly don't know a lot about hotels, maps, etc there; I'm basically going because of the pot, prostitutes, and atomosphere from what I have seen and heard. Hey, I'm nineteen and I want to explore during my time off from school!

Can any of you give me advice on what hotels to stay at? I will be going alone--it would be nice to have a gym at the hotel to work out in. And internet access would be a plus as well. Also, what about escorts? Can you get prostitutes to go with you to your room? If so, anyone have numbers or more information on this? I'm kind of an introvert--I'm not outgoing and social, and not very good with small talk. I can take them out to a cafe to get high and stuff, but I don't want a lot of chit-chat...

Another thing, I plan on doing some heavy reading. Will the weather be too bad for me to do it outdoors?

If in your price range then the Grand Krasnopolsky is for you. It's got internet and is escort friendly, but not sure about the gym. Location can't be beat either. Also Victoria has a swim pool. You won't get a RLD girl back to your room as they have paid rent for their window and just work that. Just try the link on this site. The weather will probably be gloves, scarf and hat by the time you make it as it gets well chilly round those canals, but plenty of excuse to stop off for a j or a s&f. Nothing stopping you reading in a shop, so long as you're buying your gear or refereshments there. Don't fret about small-talking the escorts (numbers are on here in the links and the archives) as the odds are their English isn't perfect or they struggle with your accent (with mine they do anyways!).

There's tumps of info on here, just got to have a look around.
Let us know how you get on.

the hotel victoria (less than 5 mins from the rld), has a small gym, and internet.

internet isnt free, and as I remember it was quite expensive

it possible to get a girl in a window to join you at your hotel, but you will have to pay for a minimum of 1 hour (200/250 euro).

There are escorts listed in the device (above - to the right) and here

amsterdam.escortsmart.com

Have fun. Don't forget the museums. And the Dutch girls who are not pros.

By the way I would leave the term 'prostitute' at home. Not a big deal but every little bit helps.
