Right, just something that came into my head in the last day or so......is Hill Street Blues on Warmoestraat still open?? When I was over there between 11-18th December, I noticed that it was shut for the last 2 days of my trip.....and wasn't able to find out why.

I hope not! I really love the inside and atmosphere there!

It's open as usual. They closed for two evenings for some slight renovation.

Good news. Thanks Withnail. I've put my annual leave request leave sheet in work today to see if I can get some annual leave soon. I can feel a trip to Amsterdam (and a trip to Hill Street Blues) coming on...

I remember this place for its cool atmosphere. What I don't remember is whether or not they had high quality marijuana products...hash, edibles?

The weed is pretty good, Hill St Special is one of my favorites. Can't help you with the hash or edibles there, never tried them.

i can second the recommendation for the hill street special. did the trick every time i packed a pipe full :)

They were open a couple of months ago, love that place, usually spend the first hour in there searching through the graffiti for where we wrote our names on previous visits, funny how you forget when you have been toking.

Hill Street Blues does by far the best toasties in the dam, hill street special is the king of toasties.
