I thought I'd share my first visit to Asmara. This report is a little long, so if you just want the conclusion, then simply know that I'll definitely never be going to Asmara again on my future trips to Amsterdam. Worst experience I've ever had.

As I entered Asmara, something immediately felt off; the entrance room felt somewhat messy, and there were old worn out chairs in the corner. The vibe didn't seem right. It wasn't exactly the high-class establishment I'd imagined from the website. Shady is probably a good word to describe it. A man sat at a computer facing the entrance; he brought the ladies in for me to choose from.

I had intended to leave unless I found a girl particularly appealing, but this intention was overrided by the prospect of a long walk back without accomplishing anything. I should have known better. I wouldn't describe the six girls as unattractive, but none of them stood out either; just somewhat ordinary and not really my type. Their bored and uninterested expressions didn't help.

Regardless, I chose Christina on the basis that she seemed slightly more enthusiastic than the rest, but there was very little in it. Asmara has a menu listing services and prices, so at least I should know what I'm getting without any hassle of negotiation. I opted for the one hour option with body-to-body, BJ, 69 and sex for €160. Not the wisest choice in retrospect for a first-time visit, but DATY is one of my favourite things and I didn't want to leave it out.

I was directed up a set of stairs to a room through a trapdoor and instructed to take a shower. The room was fairly typical except that it had nowhere to hang or place my clothes; not even a chair. Christina took around ten minutes to join me, by which time I'd long since finished showering and was waiting for a towel.

Something definitely felt off. Christina seemed uninterested in making an effort in even the most basic and casual conversion; she really didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She directed me to lie on my front on the bed.

Christina started by oiling her tits for a body-to-body massage, which was pretty good and I began to consider that it may not be so bad after all. Barely five minutes passed before Christina instructed me to turn over. She continued the same massage on my front for another five minutes before asking "which flavour condom" I'd prefer. The question confused me, so I just told her I didn't mind.

The confusion ended as she moved into 69 and I realised that the "condom" was something like a thin sheet of latex to cover her pussy, which apparently I'm supposed to DATY through. This was the first time I'd ever seen such a "condom" let alone used one. Let me assure you that DATY this way is no fun and actually just felt pretty weird. After a few minutes, Christina got on top for sex, which was decent but nothing special and I finished after a few minutes.

As I finished, I started wondering what would happen for the rest of the hour, since I'd only been with Christina for around 20 minutes. Maybe she would use up the remaining time with massage? But no. Christina instead opted to lie next to me on the bed and do nothing; barely even speaking a word. When she eventually spoke, she asked me "what are you thinking?", and I took the opportunity to tell her what I really thought.

I remained polite whilst explaining my surprise at the use of the strange "condom" for DATY. According to Christina, this is standard practice for all girls at Asmara and the only exception is to pay extra with certain girls. Christina initially seemed to imply that it was standard practise across the entire paid sex industry, then feigned surprise when I informed her that I'd never encountered it before at numerous other places.

Despite explaining politely but honestly, she seemed to take my explanation in an accusative manner and started ranting about how I should "ask the other girls" if I didn't believe her. She seemed to ignore the fact that I never explicitly doubted her and only expressed surprise about it; I'd even feigned belief. Christina was clearly full of shit, but there wasn't really anything I could do at this point, so I didn't see much reason to start an argument.

I also explained that I expected the massage to last longer than it did, to which she responded with an up-sell attempt of a "second time" for extra. There was zero chance of that happening. Apparently Christina believed that the initial fee paid for little more than sharing her presence as she continued to lie there on the bed doing nothing.

I decided to see if she would hold out like this for the entire hour, since I was far past caring and quite content to just lie down for a while out of the rain. After another ten minutes or so of doing nothing, Christina announced that she needed to take a shower, during which I continued to lie on the bed. As she finished, she returned to lie next to me on the bed again.

Around this time, I decided to cut my losses and announce that I should leave. As I got dressed after a nice long shower, Christina started another rant as though I had accused her again, despite the fact that I'd said nothing at this point. She was clearly giving terrible service and she knew it; she didn't need me to tell her that. She was pretty much just arguing with her own imagination at this point. I left 40 minutes into the one hour session.
