Long considered the biggest party of the year (rivalling New Year\'s Eve), this is expected to be an even larger event than normal due to the inauguration of the new king Willem-Alexander, which is taking place the same day. The party in the city (i.e. heavy drinking) starts April 29th! This is the last year in which the holiday will be celebrated on April 30th. Starting in 2014, it will be known as Koningsdag (King\'s Day) and celebrated on April 27th (Willem-Alexander\'s birthday), although in 2014 it will be celebrated on April 26th since the 27th is a Saturday. No big loss as we\'ve had nothing but horrible experiences with US-based service providers anyway.
