I like staying near the main stations when i travel just convenient.

I generally stay in places not over 50euro Frankfurt is good value for that plenty of options from 30euro.Im a little fussy with hotels now.Amsterdam is very expensive peak times low season still hard for a decent ensuite room under 50euro.Amsterdam i paid the extra for the citizen m hotel though loved that place think the highest i paid for a room is in the 100 euro range.

My next hotels are easyhotel and savoy then in darmstadt it will be the maritum.
