Does anyone know if tram 16 is back to its old route yet?
Specifically the Ruysdaelstraat stop for the Pijp windows.
Since January it's been taking a detour at the Wetering Circuit, along Weteringchans, through Leidseplein & Museumplein.
I was told in March that work was scheduled to finish today. April 18th.
Walking from Wetering Circuit or the Concertgebouw only adds 0.5 mlie, but it's a pain when you do it multiple times a day.

Work continues.
I stayed on a houseboat by the Heiniken last month.
Ruysdealkade is a giant construction zone, with the canal drained at the north end.
Ferdinand Bolsstraat is also torn up.
No way this is going to be finished any time soon.

I take Tram 5 to stop Roelof Hartplein and walk to the Pijp windows from there, about 200m.

Good suggestion.
Doesn't look like the 16 is coming back and the 24 will run its alternate route until Nov.
However, according to Google maps........
Using tram 5, Roelof Hartplein to Ruysdaelkade, via Balthasar Floriszstraat = 450 meters.
Using tram 24, Marie Heinekenplein to Ruysdaelkade, via Daniel Stalpertsraat = 400 meters.

Extreme pedantry. (8~>)
