I know it depends on the time of day, day of the week etc. But on a typical weeknight in the last afternoon to evening (say 4 pm to 10 pm) how many window girls would there be in De Wallen nowadays?

4pm to 8pm (ish) is pretty dead.

8pm onwards maybe 50 plus?

Bit of a generic question. Care to add some context?

Am looking forward to your reports after your June visit...

Well, shift change is usually around 6:00, so it makes sense there wouldn't be so many girls around then. Some leave a bit early, some come a bit late. Night shift was pretty busy last I was there, even during the daytime there was a pretty good selection of girls.

How many windows are still open nowadays? I know a lot of them closed, and from others have said most of the windows are now located on the side streets around Oudezijds Achterburgwal. Are there still any windows around the Oudezijds Voorburgwal area?

I haven't been to Amsterdam in 7 years, but from what I remember from the last times I was there the windows were actually pretty busy in the early afternoon.

Having been in the RLD yesterday there seems to be a huge difference between the number of windows Amsterdam has and the number which actually has an occupier. I was maybe a bit early but the RLD was busy in the afternoons as well as nights in the past....a sign of the decline?
