Well, yes and no. Some girls do quite well, some girls not so much. Consider: these girls are paying around 100-150 euros a day to rent their rooms. Some pay for a double shift. Some days, they may only get 3 or 4 quickie 50 euro customers. Now, factor in the amount they spend on things like perfume, makeup, hair extensions, hair spray, condoms, gym memberships, tanning or spray tan, lube, etc., and many of them really aren’t making a ton. The other thing is that Bulgaria and Romania are former communist states. Many people who live there grew up very poor, not having access to luxury goods. As a result, it’s sort of a cultural thing in Bulgaria and Romania to not save money. You get a paycheque, you go buy a new phone, or clothes, or perfume, or whatever. Just the mindset a lot of people in those countries have. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if a lot of these girls don’t have much money saved up at all.
