...is here, its not actually in the text of the Rutte press conference:

https://www.government.nl/topics/corona ... ublic-life

For those who don't want to go through everthing here is the key part:

Contact-based roles
Until 30 June inclusive, the general exemption from the 1.5 metre rule for people in contact-based roles does not apply to sex workers. Sex workers may go back to work as of 1 July.

That's it, nothing more!! Enjoy!

I guess the government is choosing to let the industry figure things out for themselves (i.e. self regulation).

The girls, agencies, and privehuizen are still free to set their own limits and rules, so it's not yet safe to assume everything will be back to normal. I think the biggest changes will likely be with the window girls, and least with escorts (agencies).

For now, all we can do is wait until we can visit the girls again next week.

Given how the USA is going in the wrong direction right now, it wouldn't surprise me if the EU bans travel for us past the July 1 date.

Yeah, I hope the EU do ban US travellers from entering.

US needs to get their collective shit together, and not just regarding the virus. Some fucking serious cultural rot going on over there.

A[n American] friend put it this way, "America is a poor man dressed in a nice suit."

The suit is looking a bit worn.

Gentlemen, I will not tolerate the America bashing here. This is not the place for it and this is your only warning.

Sorry Bluto.

Hot off the wire, only these countries are being allowed in to the EU tomorrow:

Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

Fair enough Bluto.

I do often wonder if I should be posting in this forum at all; I mean, this is the Amsterdam forum after all, and I don't partake in Amsterdam activities much in the last few years, as many here know I'm not a fan of De Wallen. I guess (hope) that I can provide at least some general useful information for the Netherlands as a whole, that is also applicable to Amsterdam.

Anyways, back on topic (somewhat): I've just had my first "post-lockdown" privehuis appointment confirmed for this weekend. Not in Amsterdam, but I guess at least I can give a first impression of what impact the situation has had on services, if any. The privehuis has not mentioned any rules or restrictions on either their website or in their communication with me.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This is the first forum everyone sees and even I'm occasionally inclined to post something here that would probably otherwise go in "General Discussion" when I want to make sure people see it. I think we used to only have 2 or 3 sections here. I re-organized things maybe 8 years ago and not everyone was happy, but that's par for the course with any change. I still haven't come up with a better way to organize things.

I would be really interested to hear about your experience as would others here I imagine.

That's the plan. :)

That said, I'm reluctant to name either the girl or the privehuis I'm visiting because A) I don't want the girl to get into trouble if she happens to go beyond any rules/limits of the privehuis that I may not be aware of, and B) I don't want to set the expectation that she will give the same service to everyone, as it won't be my first time visiting this lady, which could make a difference.

Yeah, of course! Totally understandable and we're just interested in general info, as in, what's possible in a privehuis somewhere in the Netherlands during these strange times. Any info you're willing to share is most appreciated!

Bluto, Your reminder is duly noted and apologies for going off-topic. I also sometimes forget which topic I'm posting under. In the past I have posted items unrelated to Amsterdam in this forum and only later realized the error. Nonetheless I completely agree to keep politics and nation-bashing altogether aside from Ignatzmice. I'm American and I'm just truly sad to see the vast spread of covid there.

I gotta say, you are all such a civil group of wonderful degenerates. Love to you all.

@jimmy_nova, looking forward to any general information you can share about the reopening.

This is the thing I love about this board. We keep things civil, no political bullshit, it’s really nice. I’m on another board for back home and it’s full of pricks arguing about politics, posting insane conspiracy nonsense, bullying, accusing people of being shills if they post positive reviews, pissing contests... it’s a fucking mess and I rarely post because it essentially guarantees having an unpleasant interaction with one of the board’s many, many dickheads.

Honestly, this isn’t a huge community but it really is one of the best. One of the last few places on the internet a degenerate pervert can have a civilized conversation.
