Not like Amsterdam but a very good alternative.

Antwerp is good too but less ladies than in Amsterdam.
Maybe Brussels has many windows too.

Frankfurt in Germany has a huge red light district but its disgusting because of all the criminals, drug consumption (heroin) and many homeless people. Especially at night there is many violence. Its the german Bronx. Even the police has trouble to gain control over this district although she is one of the better equipped municipal police in Germany.

Munich is interesting because most of all the brothels - about 10 to 15 - are just concentrated in four streets and in their near environment (Stahlgrubering, Helene-Wesel-Bogen, Machtelfingerstr. Mellingerstr.). There are not overcrowded because tourists don't know them.
You can enter each building and each lady lives in her own room. But unfortunately in the most cases you have to ring a belt to be able to take a look at them. Just pictures in front of the rooms show who is working in there. Therefore the amount of ladies working there is quite big too... maybe 250-300 on a weekend. About half of them change each week.
The two brothels who are like the 'Vie en rose' one in Amsterdam - but far bigger with about 60 to 80 ladies - are situated in the North of Munich (Helene-Wesel-Bogen). Like in Amsterdams Vie en Rose their door are open and you can have a look at the women.

Hamburg has also a huge red light district but i dont know how its working. I just know one very little street there which has windows like in Amsterdam.
But i am pretty sure that there is a huge amount of escorts working in Hamburg too.

Mannheim in Germany rdl has also a street with windows but also just a few women working there - perhaps 30.

I've never been there myself but I've heard that Hamburg's red light district is really shady. The old-school-Germans there have been replaced by Eastern European gangs. Just like in De Wallen, chance is big in Hamburg to run into a woman that uses rip-off tactics and calls their thug-"bodyguard" if you start complaining.

Ive been visiting frankfurt for a couple of years now and its as safe as any other districts.
I love frankfurt as you have fkk options not far from the city.

The rld is very local with the high buildings with plenty of floors to walk.Cheaper prices than ams.

I have never had any trouble there at all as a loaner.

I guess I might be in the minority here but I visited Frankfurt in 2011 and absolutely felt unsafe in the Bahnhofsviertel. I don't suppose they've cleaned it up since then? Either way, I won't be returning under any circumstances. On the last day I took a taxi to the airport because I was actually afraid to walk through that area to the train station with luggage at 4:30 in the morning. So that's my experience from a decade ago, for what it's worth.

I thought Antwerp was nice when I visited in January 2010. No complaints on my part, but I guess not special enough to motivate a repeat visit either.

interesting. how would you rate Frankfurt nowdays compared to, lets say, Brussels RLD?

some would say Brussels is very shady. I think its ok though. many polices but also lots of drug dealers in the back streets and alot of 'gangs'/group of people in corners. escpecially up on the streets where the colored girls are working. (please note, Ive never seen any violence from drug sellers , but they add a shady vibe to the area. I got a new offer every 20min when I was there last time by dudes in corners.

the area in brussels is described as 'problematic'... at least with a european measurements. but I would'nt compare it to , lets say, Downtown Oakland in the US. so it would be interesting to compare to Frankfurt. Frankfurt is rather cheap to fly also from most countries.

I don't know if you were replying to the guy whose post I just deleted. I deleted it (and banned him) because he's a spammer, attempting to post the same link about 20 times. Always makes me smile when people spend time attempting to circumvent my custom anti-spam measures only to get banned without ever successfully mentioning the website.

On the off-chance you were actually replying to me, I've never been to Brussels and never would go based on its reputation.
There's no reason in the world why, in a country where prostitution is legal, it has to be located in an unsafe area rife with street criminals. I don't accept this and I boycott venues where this seems to be the case.
