I repost this image every few years after our Ignatzmice meetup in 2005 at my Hotel room at the Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel. The prior year I was in the middle of the crowd below swearing that I would have a better view the next year. I miss this part of my 22 years/50 + visits of my favorite city in the world....Amsterdam

Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing the picture. Awesome view. Back for our 11th visit in the last 11 years in a couple of weeks. And yes, let us hope for an awesome 2024. 2023 sucked. Probably because we didn't visit in 2023.

A little late to the party, but happy new year, all!

Still not well enough to travel currently and with the way things are going in Amsterdam, it seems rather likely that I won’t be back any time soon (if at all), but I still like to check in here every now and then. Hope you guys had a fun new year celebration! I didn’t do anything NYE, personally, but had a very nice evening with one of my regulars here on the 29th, so I count that as my NYE celebration lol.

Hopefully 2024 is a good one!
