I'll be landing Tuesday for a week. Staying in the Museumplein/Vondelpark area.

Except for an Ajax game on Sunday afternoon and hitting Park 118 a few times, I'm fairly free in what looks like a rainy week.

If anyone's in town or a resident and want to grab a coffee, drink, or toke, send a message. If we can meet up, great---I've been to A'dam so many times without socializing at any time and it can leave one feeling lonely when not in a bordello or with an escort . . .

I hope you got someone to meet up with you, it seems forum responses nowadays is not what it used to be...

I would meet up if my trip aligned. I think it's still worth posting here about this kind of thing, seems a lot of users are still interested despite the scene having changed. I still have a blast when I go, regardless.

I always find plenty of people start conversations in the various bars around De Wallen are extremely friendly

Yeah, the city is different even from 15 months ago. I did a brief, masochistic walk through some of the decaying soul of the RLD, which did have some delusional tourists. They should call the area 'Soma.'

Will have my women and weed reports up late next week.

yes I felt the same when I was there last October. may shops / restaurants were closed down etc.

Any chance of these RLD trip reports?
