Normally when we come to Amsterdam I try to play music somewhere. Used to be years ago places like Susies had live music …no more. The only live music venues I know of for locals and tourists to play at is The Waterhole , Bourbon Street and Maloe Mello. All of these clubs are under fire. I don’t know how but they are all three breaking the noise law. Maloe Mello is almost gone , they have had a terrible year. They have put out a bulletin . I hear you have to have a permit and it is expensive. I always thought of Amsterdam as an artsy town . If they don’t give these young musicians a place to play , they will never have any artists.
