Despite the fact that I thought they’d done a deal to use the e-gates from the UK I’ve read they’ll be extra security measures starting this week.If anyone travelling to Amsterdam this week could tell me how long it took to get thru border control I’d be grateful

It wasn't bad for the few flights that got in
Lots of cancellations due to wind and snow, people sleeping on cots trying to get out.
E-gates weren't working, but the EU line had 6 agents, and only took about 10 minutes.
The non-EU line for serfs and peasants had only 1 agent, and took 45 minutes.
The real pain was NS trains on a winter emergency schedule. No IC trains, only sprinters, and 1-2 of them per hour.
Took over an hour to get on a train to Amsterdam.
Freezing rain and ice jammed the switches, and trains to the far north weren't running at all.
Welcome back!
