Life on the board...a few people don't have one here anymore.

1. Please play nicely people, be courteous and respectful towards other members, or you will be gone.

2. A load of dumb prurient parasitic posts have also made their appearances here lately as well. You can just as well lay the blame on us for our recent laissez-faire leniency in these matters. That's at an end, we assure you. If you have complaints in future about whom and what we allow, tell it to your mother.

3. Here's a thought! Instead of asking for this, that, and the other thing, why not go out and find it for yourselves, then post your experience with whatever it was here. Share your knowledge.

4. Showing a basic acquaintance with the rudiments of the English language is a requirement to post here from here on. This will not apply to those whose first language is not English---very often these individuals put UK and USA members to shame.

For starters, for fucks sake, learn the differences between:
there
their
they're
your
you're
here
hear
where
ware
wear
to
too
two
etc.

5. Those who feel the need to continually snark away at people, please refer to #1 above.
Refreshing yourselves with our posting guidelines would be a good idea. You'll find them through our "help" link above. Or here.

6. Finally, may I suggest that those who do not like what we're about here, or have little interest in The Netherlands / the Dutch, and have only two reasons (sex, drugs) to post here, or come here, please stay in your country of origin, and off this board.

You are guests here on this board, and in The Netherlands. Behave accordingly.

Gelukkig nieuwjaar, indeed.

The correct term is, "hear, hear!" It is an abbreviation for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"
