yes there is lots of big and very black African ladies aronud the church

the perceived wisdom for a while was that you would be best to avoid the black girls in the Oude Kerk area (best described in the RLD walking tour on the lower of the adjacent drop down menus) as you would be likely to be ripped off. I don't know if this is always the case, maybe somebody who reads this has had positive experiences there. The one thing i would say about Amsterdam is that there is always likely to be somebody who will float your boat.

Second, you'll always find obnoxious black
women tapping on their windows around the
Kerk. You'll find some old ones, some young
ones, some fat ones, some slim ones, some
beautiful ones, some not-so-beautiful ones. I,
personally, have never indulged there, but I've
scouted it out many times. If they are banging
on their windows to get your attention, well, I
prefer the more laid back type.
My advice is to go all over the main RLD, and most
likely you're going to find someone to tickle your
fancy. And if that doesn't do it, go to one of the
other areas. Or to a prive (my favorite).

I second Ebony69. Try a prive. I have tried three black girls in the RLD, around the church. The first two times I was ripped off really, really bad.

The most memorable rip was when I negotiated a handjob for 15 Euro. I went in and paid with a 20 Euro-bill, and off course she had no change... The deal included touching, but once inside the kamer, I learned that all I was available to touch was her back(!). And finally, I obviously forgot to specify who of us was going to do the handjob, so I ended up paying 20 Euro for touching her back while I was wanking myself. The only reason I did not leave, was that the whole thing was so comic and unbelivable that I just had to do it.

The third time I was more lucky, but those three black girls is enough for me in the RLD. For me, doing one of those black, windowtapping, "can-I-talk-to-you-mr"-girls, was a thing I had to do. And now it's done.
