Does anyone have info on what the doctors certificate that must accompany an aplication for a Dutch driver license consist of?Is it the same as the USA dept of transportation certificate that,s needed in the US if you are a truck driver, bus driver, airline pilot?I,m moving to NL later this year and judt found out that,s a requirement even for a regular private license.I found out 2 years ago i do not qualify for a US DOT cerificate-will that be a problem-should i renew my US license before moving?

it is a sort of "certificate" about your health: if you wear glasses, or have diabet, are aan alcholist and things like that...it can also be that you do not need to do that, go to the municipality when here and ask for info

Depends on ur age, most European countries just require eyesight test. That is unless u have a medical problem and declare this on the form, which u have to!
