Dutch Parking Ticket

Yesterday I got a nice letter from the Nederlands.

A parking ticket from Amsterdam from Setpeber 2004. €42.00

I can't even remember if I was in amsterdam at thetime. Is there any defence against this?

i remember i had to file an insurance claim after crashing into a hookers parked mercedes on zanpad in utrecht!..much worse than a parking ticket!

Me and my friend also got a ticket in Amsterdam, in august 2005. Don't remember the amount, but we left without paying it and never heard anything since. Now we don't have that car anymore, so I wonder what will happen if the new owner get a reminder.
