how do you think this will effect the scene in 2023?

most of us can agree that the trend from post pandemic is: Fewer girs - abit more expensive prices, (at least prices overall.)

is a recession going to hit in a similar way or the opposite?

I can see two scenarios:

- more girls / cheaper (global wave hits these countries even more , less ordinary jobs in eastern europe and so on.....

- less girls / more expensive / the amount of men aren't coming as they use to do. Simply no point for the girls to come over anymore as the market isnt what it use to be.

- third option. no effect. War stops soon and things are ramping up rather fast (the war isnt the only thing in a recession of course, but the reason for current energy crisis etc.)

It appears to me that the days of anything for 30-35 are over.
The last really big change in prices happened at the end of the Guilder/start of the Euro, and that was 25 years ago.
Looks like Covid has upended the hooker market again.

If travel is able to continue without any big stoppages, and
if there is enough gas to run things this winter, then I think this is the new normal.

If travel is shut off again, or if big parts of the economy are shut down over gas shortages/gas price spikes this winter,
then I think we will see absolute fucking chaos.

I didn't notice any great reduction in hooker numbers here in the UK, but prices have definitely crept up to where £150 or even £170 is the average per hour price for even an average-looking lady in her 20s (which means lower 30s in many cases...) in London. Probably a bit lower outside the capital. But I had noticed a definitely jump over the past few years, though that's not surprising as even before COVID and Ukraine inflation we had Brexit hammering the value of the pound.

Price of sessions have gone up, everything costs more...including 1 hr sessions with the ladies...even premium porn costs more now!

This is kind of funny , even the swinger clubs in the US have seen a price increase with a drop off of people visiting . The cost of doing business in any type of club has really went up.

Where I am living, there is still quite high inflation with wages only getting a nominal percentage rise.

There is also a perceived cost of living crisis, where most normal people are struggling to make ends meet.

Most things cost a lot more, and paying for sex is something seen as an indulgent luxury, and something that most mongers can try to cut back on.

The income stream for most people has gone down. Luxuries are being cut back on first, and sadly self pleasure with the lovely working ladies is top of the list for most men to cut back on.

I am relatively lucky, I own a company that specialises in online discounting, so it is doing really well in this cost of living crisis around the world.
I have high earnings (although, some years it is not all profit), high disposable income, a nice car and a nice house all paid for in cash.

I enjoy coming to many different RLDs around the world. I do not have a partner, am not legally married, and have no children. As such, I see nothing wrong with doing what I am doing. In fact, I like to travel away from where I am based so that I can get some privacy, peace and quiet.

The key problem I have is I cannot have the stamina and libido that I once did...due to work/life stresses and older age.
However, from my experiences visiting different RLDs....sex sells, it always did, and it always will.

Business is not booming, but it is still good in the sex industry.
