From a press release:

BABA Coffeeshop is moving too BARENTSZSTRAAT 130 !! Just a few minute's from the Central Station and near the popular tourist area around the Haarlemmerstraat . Well the renovating has started and we are doing our best to be done as soon as we can . Once we know the exact date we will make sure to invite you for our official grand opening . And we hope that everybody will come and visit us, and celebrate the new location together !

The location is near Westerpark and doesn't look all that easy to get to (only possible to take certain roads due to canals and you have to get to the north side of the tracks headed to Centraal Station). It looks like there might be a tram station at Zoutkeetsgracht and, for this distance from center city, a tram is probably advisable. This location will certainly weed out the RLD riff raff and make it much more of a locals place, which may be a good thing in the end.

From the pictures on their FB page it looks as though it will be narrower and longer than the original with not nearly as much glass.

Ack! It's not easy, even by tram.

From Dam Square, take Tram 14 west to Rosengracht.
Change to Tram 10 headed north to Marnixplein
Change to Tram 3 headed north
Zoutkeetsgracht is the end of the line

That is out by the silodam.
A small collection of islands west and north of Centraal Station.
Isolated, quiet, free of tourists.
Very picturesque, some of the best preserved and most historic houses in the city.
If you go out the north exit from CS, it can't be more than a 15-20 min walk.
Three trams seems excessive given the distance.
Maybe you need to break down and rent a bike next trip!

Thanks Weasel

I'll have to pay a visit. I don't know why I didn't think about getting across the tracks _at_ CS. I guess I really haven't ventured on the IJ side. Going that way, it's only about the same distance from CS as Tweede Kamer

And yes, I should get a bike. I've been a bit intimidated by the combination of cobblestones, traffic, drunk/stoned tourists and my sativa saturated mental state. Sure would be easier on the feet though.

I may have to make a trip once the weather gets warmer

One area of Amsterdam i have never been to. Google maps states its about a 20 min walk from Centraal station. Not too bad but not too sure i'd go out my way to go at the same time.
