The Weed

News all over the US press today:
At age 86, Willie Nelson is clean and weed free!
He has had lots of health problems the last few years,
and he decided that the only way he could continue to tour is to clean up his act.
Frankly, I'm amazed he has lived this long, and I wish him well.
An all time great, and one of my heroes.
I'm sad that i never had the chance to roll one up with him.
The legendary song about the many horrible things that can happen to a noob smoking with Willie is all over Youtube.
Now that Willie is down for the count, maybe the worst thing that can happen to an innocent young thing is to smoke weed with Weasel!

In order to keep on touring as a musical superstar (probably more like institution these days) I too will clean up my act when I reach the young and tender age of 86, and start to live a clean and healthy life. God bless the old beatnik, he's been around since before there were even hippies to cuss at.

He has done this several times in the past and the key word here is he quit "smoking" No mention of giving up the brownies
