Reality is for those who stick their head in the sand...

Politicians need to take a big dose of this drug...

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

"A study by New Zealand scientists suggested smoking cannabis virtually doubled the risk of developing mental illnesses such as schizophrenia."

- This is said to be true when smokers start using the drug in their early teens. A finding conveniently omitted in this article. Legalisation would actually be a way of keeping it (and especially more harmful drugs) from the kids. Why don't politicians realise this?

"These drugs are predominantly a problem for the poor...If you got rid of deprivation tomorrow you would get rid of the major part of drugs problem."

- Absolute tosh in relation to cannabis so why bring it into this article. When I was a 'poor' student I smoked mostly adulterated 'soap bar'. Now that I am a professional, I still smoke but now my drug of choice is bush because I don't object to paying the premium for it. What I'm trying to say is that you'll smoke rich or poor if that is your fancy. I actually smoke more that I am 'rich' so thanks Tony!

I'm pissed off with British politicians changing their f*cking minds over policy just to target those middle class voters that actually win the marginals. Check the Lib Dems and the Tory parties now and their motions to move to the centre ground. Fan-bloody-tastic, we'll have three centre-right parties at the end of it all and no common sense between them.

Steps down of his soap box.
And lights a spliff.
G~
