Using real name with escort services?

Hi !
I read several posts here of people suggesting to use real name when using outcall to the hotel (eg 4-5 star hotel) - arguing that if a fake name is used, the escort/company might think you're not trustworthy, etc.
This sounds strange to me - it's not like, when you browse through the websites of society service, you get the real names of the escorts (not to mention, the family names) - why would somebody, who would prefer to keep them being a client of escort services private - be requested, or expected, to give a real full name when booking an escort to their hotel rooms?
Can anyone here share their experience with this - is there an issue with using a fake name?

What Heads said. An escort is putting herself in a very vulnerable position, she’s coming to a hotel room of a man she doesn’t know alone. The girl/agency needs to do their best to ensure that you are not going to be a problem for them. Having your real name helps with this. I don’t have a problem with it, no good independent or agency would ever release a client’s details, they’d instantly lose 90% of their business if word got out.

In addition a high-end agency will contact you through a call to your hotel room. Eg. they will ask for you by a phone call to reception. If there's no one by that name at the hotel, guess what? No escort.

I may have some insights on this topic:
Why should I use my real name if I don't know the escorts' real name? If you're booking through a legal agency, you should be able to check out the details of the agency and it's owner. You could do so by verifying the chamber of commerce (KVK) number. It may also be helpful to google the permit number and see what turnes up. Permits are published by almost all municipalities in the Netherlands. In short; the legal status of the agency should be transparant, as should be the names of the agency owners. If you are dealing with an independent, the escort is unlikely (yet often legally obligated) to provide registration details as well as full real name simply to avoid infringement of privacy. Understand that a trust relationship needs to be established; the escort (agency) wants you to trust them with your real name, just like you want the escort (agency) to trust the escort is safe in your company.
Will my details be leaked? Privacy laws have become very strict in the past few years. If you are booking with a legal operating escortservice, look for their Privacy Statement and review it. It should include information on which details they collect, why, on which grounds and how they protect your data. Discretion towards escorts and clients is a core value for a legal agency and you can expect the agency to do whatever lies within their power to protect your details. As they are most likely to loose their business if details are leaked, you share a mutual interest to keep your details safe and secure. There should be an option to have your details removed (within legal limits) after your booking and information available after which period that is done without you requesting that. If you are booking with an independent they are unlikely to share your details because when the independent quits working as an escort, they are most likely looking to close that chapter on their lives. Just like they would not want you to show up in their lives after closing that chapter, the same goes vice versa. However, when it comes to data security understand that nothing is 100% safe. Systems can be hacked, people are sensitive to monetary offers etc. despite all best efforts. Whenever you do something of this nature, you take a small risk of it coming out. Just make sure to minimize that risk by looking into the information available and of course your common sense. EG a highly educated independent is less likely to resort to leaking cliënt details than an escort with a drug habit. An agency who does not even have a Privacy Statement, is less likely to care about protecting your details. etc.
