Does this mean Alkmaar as a RLD hotspot is now truly dead and over?

Hola Weasel,
I will be there next week and give you an update. According to some NL FB Pages the Achterdam is closed and maybe for ever.

I was just there yesterday, a slightly extended "lunch" outing. :-) Currently the lineup is not what it was. A lot of the girls who were there prior to the "pandemic" have not returned but I say give it time.

Hehe, yeah I got there around 11:45 or so and it was pretty much a bust until noon, had a coffee at the Spar and then came back and found a girl I knew and visited her. So with somewhat fewer girls working in general it's tough to find someone good in the mornings now. Doesn't stop me from trying though.

Weasel Hahahaha, you're not far off from the truth. Actually I would like to move closer because I feel a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute bike ride) still doesn't afford me sufficient access. :D

I assume the love for Achterdam has extended well into 2023?
I haven't been to Alkmaar since 2017 but I long for the days where I can return, hopefully very soon.

I haven't been to Alkmaar since 2017 but I long for the days where I can return, hopefully very soon. Yeah, I mean, I don't know where else to go these days. I tried Den Haag a few weeks ago and, while the lineup was interesting enough, the city itself is pretty much a shithole. Not really fun for me and definitely not worth 90 minutes on the train each way. So I have my regulars on the Achterdam and I'm happy enough, still. With apologies to Mitch Hedberg: I used to cringe when I saw Alkmaar mentioned on the board. I still do, but I used to, too. This is because the overpaying retards who made Amsterdam what it is today will read these posts as well and I'd prefer Alkmaar stay off the radar for the most part. So, guys: if you come to Alkmaar, please bring your brain with you, and please don't ruin it for us poor bastards stuck trying to survive on a Dutch salary. Really.

Both of which are plainly obvious when visiting said areas. Then there's also one of my Dutch friends who grew up there and confirms that I'm correct in everything I said. But hey, have fun if that's what you're into.
