Ryanair, but you'll land on Hahn which is about hour and a half drive from Frankfurt. Ok if you rent a car as Hahn is in the middle of nowhere.

Try British Midland. Even BA or LH can offer good prices sometimes. In fact, sometimes you can get a cheap BM flight code which is actually a Lufthansa flight.

thanks lads...ba seems the cheapest..the other option is to travel overnight from amsterdam via train..anyone done this?..i know this isn't a travel agent board!..but is there an overnight train to frankfurt from amsterdam cs.

Another alternative is to fly to Cologne- Bonn - provided you are hiring a car. It's 90 minutes from World and about 115minutes from Oase (and of course very close to Samya in Cologne). Easyjet fly there from several locations in the UK. Typical return fare if you book well ahead is £20

If you are flexible on timings you can get reasonable flights from Birmingham to FFM - but it is getting harder and harder. You will be lucky to get a fare under £130 - go direct to Lufthansa and BA sites - don't use Opodo which has a booking fee
