Hi, I have read the 'sexyland' topic many times now and I created this topic just summarise the inevitable events, so that there is a clear and agreed general concensus of what is going to happen, as some of the posts are conflicting on the other topic.

SOME of the Sexyland area is definitely closing as it has been bought out?

The Oude Kerk African section, Stoofsteg and connecting streets to the canal, and the canal will survive with more windows opening there?

I can't imagine walking from the warmoestraat through the sexyland area onto the canal without any girls being there...

The other day I found a video on utube showing Sexyland being emptied and a lorry being loaded with the interiors. A bad feeling in my stomach to see this!
Imagine how many times we have bought a terrible cup of coffe in there, just to get warm again on a chilly evening, and get a minute to decide which girl to go for next.

Now, in reality, will the next 4 weeks see kamer after kamer being emptied by loud builder guys tearing out the beds and tiles of these kamers? That is my fear..
As I was hit by the flu I had to cancel my trip to the Dam last week, and I feel rather stressed about the whole thing, as my main purpose with this trip was to try and get som info from my favourite girls where they will actually go after May. For example, will wonderful Julia in Tromp (was redhead, now blond) go back to Poland?

If they are not going to work in OZA or Stoof, then it is well worth a try to get their phone number or e-mail address in case they start working via internet or in another city. At least the girls one is very familiar to, as a returning regular, might give you som contact info, right? Cause I find it hard to believe that they will quit entirely.

What do you think about this, have any of you got any more info on this while visiting the girls?

Why are they moving everything around? I understand they need to cut the windows from spreading, but surely keep it all in one area.

That's a horrible clip :-( Sooooo many times i've walked in there and sometimes used the dvd cabins for a couple of minutes or just looked around while waiting for a girl to become free. And then going back further to when it used to be peep shows!!! Fun times....

About a year and a half ago one of the organizers of the Red Light Design project, which was given use of some kamers around the Old Church for art studios (where more recently was the Red Light Radio thing), opined to me that the City would try to transform those former kamers into luxury apartments. Much of RL Fashion have been allowed to keep using their spaces, but RL Design was only given a year and then the artists had to move out. His suspicion was that a larger redevelopment was pending. Perhaps this AH is the first step in that direction?

How long before the girls are hired actresses and the entire Wallen a staged scene for tourists to see what it was like 'back when there were real prostitutes in these very windows!' ?

Hi smuler, yes i certainly do remember the side entrance!!! Was surprised when it disappeared....one of those things you think to yourself "I'm sure there used to be a way in here!!!", and wonder if you imagined it while under the influence!! lol! That was better than the OZA peep as there were 2 booths!!! I think it was in that place that i booked a girl in one of the solo cabins one time!! Was a good show and i did it out of curiosity, as i saved myself for a real girl :-)

It's actually over 2 and a half years since my last trip!!!! And i certainly miss Naomi too...very much!!

Is there still the peep show on OZA now, or is that one closed down as well?

I seem to recall that there was one on Kalverstraat back in the early 90s too.

I was in the RLD within the last couple of weeks and to be honest, I didn't even think of Sexyland being there, but now that I watch the youtube I now know why so many guys were standing around this blank wall harassing the gals. It was shameful.

Shame you missed Sem...she was such a sweet girl :-)

Although i live not far from the Olympic Park i haven't got any tickets to go to any events. More important things to spend my cash on...... ;-) Going to be interesting to see if we can pull it off though!! The transport system is hectic at the best of times!!!

Add me to the list. She left just before I was due to return to Amsterdam. I was heartbroken. I often say "sometimes the chemistry works, sometimes it doesn't". With Naomi, the chemistry was great right from the start - and got better as we went along. I would have been a regular with her if she had stayed.
