I suspect that it may still be up for the 26th.
However it is an annual amusement event on the Dam.
There have been years, in the past, when it was not there and years that it was. Queensday used to be the 30th.
Kingsday is now the 27th except this year when it is on the 26th.

If you're talking about the amusement rides, they are actually up in Dam Square quite often throughout the year and I'm pretty sure they were there last December.

nothing on Dam Square last December ( 8th till 13th )

What they did have , I think for the first time, was from the top of Damrak, all the way down to Dam Square there were big 'log cabins' all selling gifts, christmasy junk, all manner of fast food.
even a couple of bars INCLUDING SOME TOILETS!
it was really impressive.

Yeah, you're right, Damrak had been converted into a big Christmas market. I had a few pics as well but can't find them. It must have been November (or maybe January?) when the rides were in the square...

They had the rides up in the square the last couple days of my last trip in October. I remember I got some of those little pancake puff things I can never for the life of me seem to pronounce the name of. They were good.
