New Year’s Day? Busy?

Hi all

I have the opportunity of a layover in Amsterdam on jan 1st until the early hours of the 2nd, is Amsterdam likely to be busy or is it quiet after the chaos of New Year’s Eve?

It might be a little quieter than NYE, but if you have to pay for accommodation be prepared for a shock.

Don’t think accommodation on 1st Jan is any more expensive than usual, although if you’re booking last minute you might pay a little more. It’s New Years Eve (tonight) which may have been more expensive.
