So according to the EU commission “ The Commission said that if certain member states were prepared to let in visitors who had tested negative, they should do the same for vaccinated ones. Unvaccinated travelers could still be permitted, but countries could require tests or quarantines”.

Looks like even if you don’t get the vaccine you will be allowed in Europe with a negative test. They are going to do what the US are doing with not mandating vaccine passports.

We are vaccinated and have already planned travel for October. Fingers crossed.

October sounds realistic. Our government keeps saying that around june/july 'enough' people should be vaccinated. So by their track record on the pandemic so far that should be just be between august and october.
