I visited Amsterdam back in September 2021 and it's now changed too much for me. With the mass closure of windows and concentration of windows now in OZA, it's just not for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where else to go in Europe for Mongers? I've had moderate success in Kiev but I'm up for trying something new.

if you want to go anywhere this winter I think most countries have some kind of lockdown or at least restrictions in some form .. but that can change from week to week.

Hahaha, I had planned to go back to the Dam in February, only to be warned that a million covid restrictions were still in force and I'd be made to spend my whole time bottled up inside some hotel room quarantining (I have been vaccinated and given a booster shot).

The good news is that the rest of Europe is finally starting to catch up to where Amsterdam was circa 2000. If you're looking for somewhere in Western Europe (can't speak about EE or the FSU as I have never ventured far enough east to learn about it first hand), I would go to Berlin. Plans are afoot to legalise weed in Germany under the new coalition government, and there are a million different ways to monger there, from street prostitution to Dam-style privehuis. While not as hip as it was in the 1990s and 2000s, there was enough of a counter-culture vibe and a sense of history that I had a great time visiting there for a couple of months in 2014.

Somewhere I haven't been yet, but intend to try in April, is Spain. There are cannabis clubs in most big cities you can get weed at if you email them about getting membership in advance (this might require several goes as it is a grey area in Spanish law), plus plenty of EE and LA service providers end up there as well.

Well, can’t speak for Europe personally, but if you’re up for a longer flight, maybe consider Toronto? The escort scene here is incredible. Tons of options for incalls and outcalls, both independent and agencies, and massage parlours too, if that’s your kind of thing. Also probably reasonably cheap for you guys too, since the Canadian dollar is basically Monopoly money nowadays. And, of course, we have legal weed. It’s actually more legal here than in Amsterdam, technically. And dispensaries are fucking EVERYWHERE. Like, it’s a problem, they’re popping up everywhere. We probably have more weed shops in this city than Starbucks at this point.

Not the hippest city, not a ton of history or really even a whole lot of particularly interesting things to see if I’m being honest, but really world-class providers and amazing Asian food.

I never did get around to the FKK's tbh. Just mongered in the city centre and the east. Can't remember many details as this was back in 2014, but a quick post querying up to date places in the Other Cities: Europe should sort you out. There's a link below to various eros centres (Which is a helpful phrase to DuckDuckGo or Google) which have websites etc. Fair warning, most are closed right now due to the pandemic. There was also a German language website that was an absolute goldmine for independent escorts back in the day. Definitely, I've been toying with the idea of doing holidays in places which are not known to be sex and drug (weed) party havens, so I can enjoy my two favourite hobbies under the radar so to speak. Here in the UK we remain hopeless backwards on both topics. The legal status of sex work in Canada is kinda weird. We’re basically on a slightly modified version of the Nordic Model, so it’s technically illegal for us to buy sex, but it’s not at all enforced. Like, there have been literally zero arrests that didn’t involve underage or trafficked girls since the new laws were enacted back in 2015. Several provinces (including Ontario) have flat-out said they won’t enforce the laws. Massage parlours actually are legal and are licensed by the government, but what they’re legally allowed to do is quite limited (basically hand stuff only, though many girls do offer additional services). The weed, of course, is totally legal, basically the same as tobacco here, except you can get a DUI for driving while high.

The funny thing is, many people don’t realize just how good the escort scene here in Toronto actually is. I’ve lived here my whole life and I didn’t realize until just a few years ago, really. It makes sense if you think about it, Toronto is the financial capital of Canada, so there’s tons of rich business types as well as American rich business types constantly coming here to do business type things. So there’s a huge pool of clients for the ladies. Toronto honestly might be one of the very best cities in North America for sex work. I’d say only Montreal, Vancouver, and LA/Vegas area (and in that case only because there are so many pornstars available) really rival it. We really do have some absolutely world-class agencies and a ton of really fantastic independent ladies. Huge diversity as well. I love Amsterdam, but there isn’t really as much variety over there. Most of the ladies are Eastern European or Dutch (especially escorts), there are some Latinas, Thai, African ladies, etc., but not a huge amount comparatively.
