Thought this might make you smile. I have visited the RLD in Amsterdam for the past 6-7 years, about once a year when I'm in the area for work. I saw a news article years back that said the RLD was "around the Oudekerk", so on my first visit that was where I headed.

I saw a few older women in the cabins around the church, then found the alleyways "Dollebeg" and "Trompettersteeg" and thought I had hit the jackpot - the girls there were mainly EE but really stunning. I did look out across the canal a couple of times but the other side opposite the church looked dead so I never ventured any further than those alleys.

On my last visit (a few weeks before Covid started), I was walking back from my hotel to Centraal station about 11pm and Google maps took me a short cut along what I now know to be OZA. Wow, I was amazed! Now, I finally realised what all the fuss was about with the Amsterdam RLD! And all those years, I had been thinking that the couple of alleys around the church (now closed down apparently) were all there was to it....

I haven't been able to get back since due to Covid and I didn't have time to pay a visit that night due to catching my train to the airport, so I'm hoping to make my first repeat visit in a few weeks time - now I finally know where to find the main RLD! ;-)

What an idiot I am! I post this so hopefully no-one else will make the same mistake!

Ironically those alleys were probably the best mongering to be had in Amsterdam, but you're right, OZA has to be done.

Hey, they are a couple of smaller red light districts in Amsterdam, Singel and De Pijp. Next Den Haag, Alkmaar, Belgium, Germany, Pattaya... Lots of girls.

Since then I found this forum (which is great!) and Georgeamsterdam's videos on YouTube, so I'm a bit more clued up :-)

I only have 48 hours in AMS this time, so I guess De Wallen and Singel will be all I can get to for now. How does Singel compare for age/quality of girls? Is it just the older ladies at Singel? I hear prices are more like 70-100 Euro instead of the old 50 Euro standard rate, is this the same at Singel and de Pijp as well?

At this point, anywhere other than Amsterdam. Den Haag has two decent size RLDs (I believe more total windows than Amsterdam at this point but I haven't been there in years so I could be wrong) and, unlike Amsterdam, you should mainly find girls catering to locals rather than ripoff artists looking to fleece as many tourists as possible. Gelenstraat/Hunsestraat is €50 I think and the girls on Doubletstraat were always considerably cheaper (around €25), but that was years ago and I don't know current prices. Perhaps someone else can fill in the blanks.

Alkmaar has a small RLD (one street) but you might be disappointed if you travel there solely for that. Worth a look if you're in the area though.

Antwerp was nice when I went there 10 years ago. Spent just a couple hours in town, had a couple beers and fucked a beautiful Bulgarian girl. I hope it's still good... I want to go back.

It all depends on what you're looking for. If the primary motivation for the trip is sex, I would probably skip the Netherlands altogether, go to Germany and hang out in some FKKs. Tons of info going back many years is on this site if you're curious.

OK, but what if your only trip to Europe for 2022 was 48 hours of business meetings in central Amsterdam, with no chance to escape the city? Would you take a temporary vow of chastity as the local girls weren't up to standard? Or is there a way that you could make the best of the situation?

I think Den Haag is a good option. Consistently good reviews on here and other forums.

No worries, I get it. In that case I would probably try my luck on Oude Nieuwstraat and the surrounding area. It's not that far from De Wallen, on the other side of the Damrak. Otherwise I know guys here like to recommend De Pijp (the windows on Ruysdaelkade... maybe still tram 16 or 24 from the center unless they changed it.) I've personally never had a good experience down there but I gave up after a couple visits.

My experience is pretty dated and I don't live in Amsterdam anymore but I guess at this point it's just a question of how much worse it is now compared to what I remember, and what I remember was pretty damn depressing.

Stupid shit like that was normal for me on my first few trips.

Punting is chaos. Most of our old favorites are gone, and sorting through the new ones is painful.
If you can do a good interview, are patient, and are willing to pay for an extra or two, you can still shop Amsterdam, even OZA. But you have to be smart. Your chances of a bad punt are highest on OZA, and go down the farther away you get. OudeKennisteeg is also home to some poor providers.

Escorts eliminate most problems, but they are expensive. I'm a big fan of a few independent girls that do not allow posting. Society service has always treated me well, but the CBJ rule is a negative.

I like the Singel. Most girls are 35+, some much older. Haley was there, but only 3 days a week.
Service is usually good, and sometimes magnificent. Lots of repeat customers. Some fun extras.

I've always done well in the Pijp, but all my regulars are gone. Younger and hotter than the Singel crowd, some would fit with the hottest spinners from OZA.

Kinky.nl has hundreds of girls for both incall and outcall. It just exploded during the lockdowns.
A complete crapshoot without the reviews that were lost when Hookers.nl shut down.

ALkmaar was lovely. 20-30 girls, several of them stunners, and a few were very good company. I had a LOT of help shopping, but I think anyone could find a good punt there. Limited smoking options (unless you have a key to a nearby apartment!), a few places to drink, and much smaller crowds. I love the place.

FKK's in Germany are a train ride away, but crossing the border is a pain.

In the Wallen, if I knew nothing, I would shop Monikenstraat and Stoofsteeg.

Man, what a great perspective. You, sir, are spot on. I absolutely love reading things of this sort. So insightful, especially with regard to the chaos of it all. Not many could ever extract that kind of understanding of that particular area of Amsterdam. I could be wrong, though. Perhaps those of experience and years of visiting get it completely. It took me my first couple of trips there to really get the vibe and to really know what you want before going into certain expeditions in order to extract not only the best of things in the moment, but for future things to come with certain women.

It has gotten more difficult to navigate in the last decade, at least; and I feel the whole Project 1012 did no one any favors. That said, weasel9x9's comments are truly inspired as far as I'm concerned. Things in Amsterdam, I feel, have become a compromise, whereas in the past there was no such concern. Ever. Period. There feels to me a changeover that I'm going to have to get comfortable with moving forward, and that might be the escort route in order to get what one is looking for from top to bottom. Well, either that or taking a train to Germany or Belgium, God forbid (more for the latter).

The past five to six years, to me, have seen a change in the city like I never could've comprehended. I saw the change happening from 2005 or so, but wow...I feel like going there now is so different. I get it, change in government, attitudes, et cetera; but how it happened so expeditiously is beyond me. I've gone off tangent, but COVID and whatever other excuses the city and its mayor might make for further damaging Mokum and its outlying areas is reprehensible. It needs constant scrutiny. Amsterdam deserves better, and that's not just hyperbole.

I say just go in, regardless of one's perception of how good or bad the kamer might be, and figure it out, quick. You might make a few mistakes, but they're not for nothing. I feel once one's been made it just doesn't happen after that. You don't want to repeat another wasted opportunity or monies spent. Life's short. If you visit there then at least make an effort, regardless of if it's walking around Centrum or Singel or De Pijp or otherwise, like the escort route; just read up and go with your gut, I say.

I would recommend De Pijp, as Bluto suggests. 15-20 minute tram ride from Centraal station.

I only started going there in 2018, having stuck with De Wallen and Singel before that. Not had a bad experience in De Pijp with perhaps a dozen or so punts in a couple of years. It's definitely got a more relaxed vibe.

Other than a South American lady called Gina who has been there for years, I can't remember specific names of who i saw (and its almost 2 years since my last visit so may be redundant anyway).
