I would like to start a thread for Cup Week that centers around things other than smoking dope, like culture. My offering is what is being billed as "an intimate afternoon with Patti Smith," acoustic music and poetry at 4pm on Nov. 26 at the Paradiso.
Other suggestions, maybe about a band a bit more current?

Luther-Did you know that Alter Bridge is playing the Paradiso on Mon the 21? I've got a friend that's a guitar tech with them. I called & told him that's during the Cup. It's pretty Dam (no pun intended) cool. The night before I left the last Cup, Motorhead played here.
