Hi folks

can any of you recommend a cheap hotel close to the RLD at the Singel or close to the Jordaan?

Any recommendations on any of the hotels directly in the main RLD?

Thanks

Krautinz

POPULARITY INDEX #244 of 288 hotels in Amsterdam

Haarlemmerstraat 65, Amsterdam 1013 EL, The Netherlands

http://www.tripadvisor.com/

&, FYI, there is a Hotel De Looier with good revs at Tripadvisor -- anyone stay there?

Hotel De Looier 3 stars
Derde Looierdwarsstraat 75, 1016 VD Amsterdam
The hotel is located in the city center known as the Jordaan (garden); in a quiet side street, in the antique district of Amsterdam. Five minutes walk brings you to the main entertainment area (Leidseplein). Here you will find hundreds of restaurants, bars, discos, coffee shops, the casino, etc, etc and our own cafe "Rock In and Roll Out". Another five minutes walk you arrive to the main museums: the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art. The Anne Frank House is a ten minutes walk from the hotel in the opposite direction. Most of the important attractions are within fifteen minutes walking distance.
