will I have any trouble finding a bed this time of year? I just can't swing 60+ a night for a hotel this trip.

I don't want to be stuck at the christian hostel with a cerfew.

Go to:

You'll be able to book a hostel online in advance. I like the Flying Pig Downtown if you're a smoking type.

I've never had a problem with the Bulldog. Well known, easy to find, and more comfortable than most hotels I've visited.

I have stayed at the hostel Meeting Point on Warmoestraat many times. It is in the middle of everything with no curfew
They have an all night bar with good beer prices and you can get toasties all night to help with the munchies. They also have 45 gallon drums that you can rent for 5E(lock incl) for your entire stay to put your luggage in.
Through the week this time of year there will be no prob getting a bed. On the weekend it should not be a problem either. To make sure be their by 12:00.
