There is a discussion that many video clips in music etc. for youngsters are fairly oversexed and give a forced idea about relations between men and women.

MTV started a discussion , a broadcasted video is in the newsarchives at

under "Reportages NOS Journaal" select "MTV start discussie over seks in clips" and load the stream.
Good for your lessons in Dutch, 2 min video , last 30 seconds is a Wallen scene , the blonde girl going down the stairs , invites her customer in her kamer, settles on the bed nice butt up, it ends in a close-up of the girl and she's very well known to me .....

Breaks up too much over my connection.. Is there some way of getting the video as a file rather than a stream?

when you open the page and click on the message the videoplayer opens and starts buffering automatically ....

put Amanda in searchfunction and you find some 8 Amsterdam threads.
She now normally works daytime (in the week) on OZA 60 (upperwindows) or directly across from that address on OZA 41. She's a nice clever naughty Dutch girl .....

Clever/naughty in a good way or bad?

i got it to play on windows media player. When it starts to play on their media player. You can click on the word standaard player on the bottom left of the player. It will go to your default player.

My problem is, that when I look at this video in either Windows Media player or their OCX control, I get sound only and a black screen.
I can play other videos however :(

That happened to me initially when using my NL ISDN (64 KB) connection despite fiddling around with and saving relevant settings (Instellingen). Back home with my 6 MB connection I find I have no problem so long as I am using the NOS broadband delivery. The laptop is the same in both situations and I haven't changed anything.

Could this be your problem too?

the first time I tried it out it didn't work either (?)
next day I tried it out it worked, (sometimes I believe in female logic)
I have standard Dell equipment , it starts buffering and soon after the video shows up , try another news item .....
