Hi guys,
Just wondering what you folks do upon your arrival in the Dam. For me and my mate, it is now a sort of ritual that we go to Rastababy for a pre-rolled and then on to check in. Then a tour of the RLD before making our purchase later in the evening.
Just wondering you guy's "rituals" upon arrival?

I told you we should go to Barneys..... it sounds awesome! plus, i swear we have an early flight this time....?
Also, are you sure the pre-rolled joint from rastababy is a good idea since your little panic attack you had on the streets of glorious a'dam?

I'm a new convert to Rasta Baby. I enjoy all kinds of reggae music and they play it all the time on a pretty good sound system. This time of year they also have several tables out front. I haven't bought weed there though, as I depend on the tried and true shops (Barney's, Hunter's, 420 aka de Kuil, and the Grey Area).

I normally ride to Amsterdam on a Motorcycle...300 mile one ferry and about 7 hrs.....I stay at the old quarter so on arrival ...quick power shower to wash away those aching muscles ...pop into Hill Street Blues...not the best gear but I like to sit on the comfy sofas at the back with the windows open looking out onto the Damrak and canals...Quick spliff and beer and then amble thru the RLD to Ricks near the dam...from then on in its anyones guess!!!

Greenhoff, u say you get cheap tabacco, where do you get it from? Also, the Stella Blue, is thats reccomended by all?
Also, it was the intense smoking of that pre-rolled which killed me last time, after not having smoked for a good month before going out there!
Cheers chaps,
Frenchy

When we arrive on Thursday, we'll head straight to Barney's from Centrall Station. I'll get my full 5 gms of Morning Glory/Sweet Tooth/Laughin Budda/Amnesia Haze or something new. Burn one there & head to the hotel, drop our shit off & hit more shops (Anyday/Grey Area/Bluebird/Hunter's). We should be at Barney's around 11 am if anyone wants to burn w/us.
6 Dayzz & counting...

You know what, I have not in the three different times I have tried Stella Blue, gotten ANYTHING from it. These came from three different places, none of which were anyday. So I'd just as soon stay off the blue. I even tried Blue and Silver, which I assume is a Stella Blue/Silver Haze mix, and that sucked as well.
Amnesia Haze, that's a different story ;)
But the Greenhouse and Dampkring still overpower all.

Check out
http://www.coffeeshop.freeuk.com/ACDfrmAZ.html
- under B you'll find Barneys Breakfast Bar on Haarlemmerstraat (the site has great maps). It's handily around the block from Frederic rentabike.
We found the wait for food to be a bit long but that didn't stop us going there nearly every day, having managed to get up too late for the uninspiring standard Dutch hotel breakfast every single morning!. No boiled eggs, dodgy cold meat and dry bread for us at Barney's.
